Exactly 50 years after the première of Luciano Berio’s CORO, George De Decker’s CORO will be premièred at Lunalia. It is a new chapter in De Decker’s extensive oeuvre, which includes solo pieces, symphonic works, sound installations and music for film, dance and theatre.

In Haribo Kimchi, we find ourselves in a pojangmacha, a typical late-night snack bar seen on the streets of South Korea. There, we meet several lost souls: a YouTuber, an eel, a toad and a rice cooker. They take us on a culinary journey, exploring food culture as a language that reveals the structure of society.

Modesta (play of language and lips), based on Goliarda Sapienza's controversial novel The Art of Joy, is an ode to the chaos and the joyful loss of coming of age. Set to music by Lander Gyselinck, Jäger and Ooms depict humans preferring vitality, willpower and joy to cynicism, social conventions and restrictive morality.
