AWARD

The winner of the fourth Cedric Willemen Award will be announced on October 11, 2023. Willemen Group and Contour Biennale award the prize to a promising audiovisual artist. The award was created in 2015 in memory of Cedric Willemen, who lost his life while studying at LUCA School of Arts Sint-Lukas Brussels. 

The first award went to Nástio Mosquito during Contour 7, the second award was presented to Christina Stuhlberger during Contour Biennale 8, and the third award went to Eva Giolo during the ninth edition of Contour. Both Stuhlberger’s and Giolo’s work will be on display at Kunsthal Extra City during CON10UR.

 The winner of the Cedric Willemen Award will receive a cash prize and guidance from the team at arts center nona and Contour.
