Jazzlab actively participates in international exchange, talent development and knowledge sharing within the European jazz and music sector. In September 2024, JazzLab – together with Ha Concerts, VI.BE and Muziekcentrum De Bijloke – co-organised the European Jazz Conference, a multi-day event that brings together representatives from across the entire network. In addition to networking opportunities, working groups and panel discussions on current topics such as sustainability, gender equality, social inclusion, audience development and education, the host city and organisations were given the opportunity to showcase their strengths.

Stepping Stone and Constellations are also part of our international activities. These programmes offer tailor-made, career-oriented guidance to musicians and have now been incorporated into the structurally embedded projects of EJN (Europe Jazz Network) - the largest European network for the genre.
