Every year, Belgium Booms and arts centre nona / JazzLab organise an extensive international visitor programme at one of Belgium's renowned jazz festivals. In 2023, the concept was tested at Jazz Brugge, in 2024 it coincided with the organisation of the European Jazz Conference in Ghent, and in 2025 Dishwasher_, Alex Koo Trio, Joachim Badenhorst's Youran and Bodem played in the Belgium Booms x JazzLab programme at the BRAND! festival in Mechelen.

In 2026, we will be heading to Motives Festival, which will take place on October 2 and 3 at De Velinx in Tongeren. In January 2027, it will be time for the Brussels Jazz Festival in Flagey.

For this event, professionals from the broad international jazz scene are invited to explore our local scene and thus facilitate international networking. Four Belgian bands are selected to play at the festival and are given the opportunity to present their music live to a group of international professionals.
