In Petty Bison, four dancers dive into a soothing bath of choreography and composition. With great panache and the necessary fire, they opt for the generous abundance of dance that bursts with movement, quick changes and strong rhythms in a jazzy, magnetic group dynamic. They bathe in multiplicity - many ideas, lots of energy - and flirt shamelessly with excess. The result is choreography on steroids: precise, playful and irresistibly lively.

Petty Bison is a celebration of the power and beauty of carefully written dance: dance that enjoys the small details in the big gestures; dance that finds delight in pronounced musicality; dance that is experienced together. It is an attempt to choreograph the viewer's own gaze. The movement language, fuelled by urban dance and refined to perfection, fills the space with a new, pulsating frequency. This craftsmanship is no coincidence: choreographer and dancer Thomas Vantuycom is an alumnus of PARTS and danced with Rosas for four years.
