Kim Karssen is a Dutch theatre maker and actress who searches for an imaginative balance between joke and tear. She worked with De Warme Winkel, had the hit of BROEK 2021 with Bloomsbury and won awards with youth performance NIETES. In the absurdist comedy Don't rain on my paREET, we dive into Kim's chaotic head where everything flies in all directions and every second an existential question pops up that needs to be answered. She flirts with stand-up and has the god-awful desire to finally make a socially desirable performance. This can only mean one thing: everything is going to go horribly off the rails.
