Combination Theory is the debut performance of the dance collective ONAF.
During this performance, the subject of collective challenge is approached in a physical, dance and choreographic manner.
Combination Theory is a true battle of attrition that demands a great deal of the dancers because of the complexity of the choreography and the stamina it requires.
Because the difficulty of the choreography demands an incredibly focused focus, the will or art of hiding is lost. The challenge of remembering and executing all the steps is so great that it is necessary to appeal to collective memory and mutual encouragement.
The very rigid choreography thus makes way for authenticity. For connection.

Combination Theory is a point of encounter. A meeting between the dancers involved, between the audience and between them.
Together, as a tight group, we look each other in the eye. We decide to take up the collective challenge. The result: the exposure of human feelings such as exhaustion, dependence, pleasure, perseverance and competition.
