Abel Ghekiere

Abel Ghekiere presents with band his record 'Before it disappears, and after', released by Rotkat Records.

In nona he introduces us to his four-year project of searching and being lost. His unique sound comes from merging modern jazz, traditional folk and field recordings. Through classical arrangements and a cinematic approach to composition, Ghekiere and band tell a story of grief and the search for solace.

Live, he is joined by Tobias Volckaert (saxophone), Ana van Liedekerke (cello), Maarten Joostens (guitar) and Orlan Ghekiere (drums).
