Your personal data can be collected through various channels. Directly from you:

• if you register for our e-zine/brochure;
• when you purchase tickets;
• when you sign up for an activity.

We can also collect your personal data when you use our website or open the online newsletter (through tracking tools such as browser cookies and web beacons).

nona arts centre processes your personal data when you use our services and/or because you provide us with this data yourself. Here is a list of the personal data we process and may request:

• First name and surname
• Date of birth
• Address details
• Telephone number
• E-mail address
• Bank account number
• Choice to receive the newsletter (e-zine) and/​or brochure (for the season)
• Whether you have an abonona (season ticket formula)
• Genre preference (dance, theatre, music, visual arts) based on tickets purchased and your own indicated preference
• History of activities
• Data linked to your use of our website and navigation of the online newsletter (see ‘Cookies and web beacons’).

You are not obliged to provide personal data but you will understand that it is impossible for us to provide some of our services if you do not consent to the processing of your personal data. When you fill in a form online, the boxes marked with a star are compulsory data that you have to provide in order to fulfil an agreement (to supply tickets, send the newsletter (e-zine) etc.).

The data we collect is used for:

• settling payments and delivering tickets (in fulfilment of an agreement);
• direct marketing in the form of electronic newsletters (as a legitimate interest, specifically the aim to ensure the continuity of our activities and maintain a relationship with our visitors);
• sending printed material (brochures, invitations etc.)  (as a legitimate interest, specifically the aim to ensure the continuity of our activities and maintain a relationship with our visitors);
• obtaining subsidies from the government (legal obligation);
• to inform you about our services and products and any changes to them (as a legitimate interest, specifically the aim to ensure the continuity of our activities and maintain a relationship with our visitors / fulfil agreements).

Our database of information is regularly tidied up. Data belonging to customers who have not bought any tickets for more than four years since their last purchase are removed from the database unless these persons have actively registered for the newsletter or brochure. Subject to the above, your personal data is stored in accordance with the specific legislation and expiry dates that oblige us to keep your personal data for longer.

Providing your date of birth is optional when buying tickets or participating in activities. This means that we cannot actively check whether tickets are sold to persons under the age of 16 and whether their personal data is collected. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data from a person under the age of 16 without the required permission, contact us at info@nona.be or by telephone on 015 20 37 80 and we will remove this information.

nona arts centre does not sell your data to third parties and only shares it with third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We are allowed to share the data you give us with third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the aims described above.

For example, we use a third party to:

• provide our internet environment (web hosting);
• provide our IT infrastructure (including the IT network etc.);
• provide the ticketing service;
• provide (and distribute) newsletters and invitations.

These parties (processors) process your data on our behalf. It goes without saying that the necessary arrangements are made and set down in a processing contract, in order to guarantee the security of your personal data. Your data is never shared with third parties other than the aforesaid processors and any co-producers of the activity in question.

nona arts centre has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unlawful processing:

• All persons who can view your data on behalf of nona arts centre are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data;
• We make use of a user name and password policy on all our systems;
• We make back-ups of personal data so that it can be restored in the event of physical or technical incidents;
• Our employees are informed of the importance of protecting personal data.

In the event of possible violations or leaks, nona arts centre will report this to the Data Protection Authority (DPA) within 72 hours of notification.

Google Analytics is used solely to gain a clear picture of visitor flows, sources of traffic and page views etc. These cookies are not used under any circumstances to store personally identifiable information. The information obtained is only used to improve the content of our website and adapt it to the browsing behaviour of our visitors.
• Embedded content cookies. Our web pages are sometimes enriched with embedded content such as films hosted on vimeo.com or youtube.com. If you click on this embedded content to go to the external website in question, cookies may also be generated.
• Cookies installed by tools to share pages on social media such as AddThis or Sumo.
• Cookies installed by tools to do browser surveys such as Hotjar.

Under no circumstances do the cookies on our site store personal data, but only statistical click data to get to know our audience better. Besides cookies, we also use web beacons on our website and in our e-mails. When we send e-mails, we can track behaviour such as who opened the e-mails and who clicked on the links. This enables us to measure and improve the performance of our e-mail campaigns. Web beacons allow us to collect information about when you opened the e-mail, what links you clicked on, your IP address and other comparable details.

You have the right to access your personal data. If you believe that your personal data is inaccurate, incomplete or no longer up to date, you have the right to request a correction. You have the right to request the erasure of your personal data within the limits of article 17 of the General Data Protection Regulation. You have the right to request the limitation of your personal data within the limits of article 18 of the General Data Protection Regulation. Furthermore, you can object to the processing of your personal data (or some of this data) by us or one or our processors. You also have the right to obtain the data you have provided in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit it others within the limits of article 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation.
